Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the company’s Robotaxi program would open to the public in September, but there is a large bottleneck that would inhibit it from launching smoothly.
The thing is, it can be solved in a short time and Tesla can arrange it internally.
In Austin, Robotaxi platform has been in operation since the end of June. The launch of the program only made it possible for a handful of privileged influences and groups to access the driverless Ride-Hailing service, even though it has expanded this group on several occasions.
It has also slowly added vehicles to the fleet starting at 11 cars when it was launched in June. A few cars have been added, but Tesla has continued to prioritize security as its rider population and the number of vehicles are low for the time being.
However, this will cause a great deal of a bottleneck in next month’s planned public launch as there will be an open invitation for anyone and anyone to test the Robotaxi platform in Austin.

Many people have been waiting for an invitation to ride in a robotaxi, and Tesla has not been inclined to give one to just someone.
As it will be a much larger number next month, Tesla has to increase its Robotaxi fleet number as well as its population of security monitors, the riders sitting in the passenger seat to make sure everything goes smooth.
Tesla will need to add a lot more cars if they want to be able to meet demand, otherwise rides will not be available to most.

While Geofensen in Austin is roughly doubled in size twice during both Tesla’s extensions of the service area, the company still plays it safely with growth in the rider, something that is in line with its focus on security.
Musk recently said about the extension of Robotaxi to customer -owned vehicles:
“As I said, we are paranoid of security. But I guess next year I will say confidential next year. I’m not sure when next year, but with confidence next year, people would be able to add or pull their car to Tesla, the Inc. fleet.”
The Robotaxi fleet will undoubtedly revolutionize the way people look at Ride-Hailing. Tesla seems to be ready to open it to the public next month, based on what Musk said, but some changes must occur to make sure it goes smooth.
